Description
Kooragang run Graded Scratch races, Handicaps time trials and the Time Trial.
It is run on a flat and bumpy 8 km Circuit.
It is on most weeks and the club welcomes Defence Riders to compete each week.

Description
Kooragang Island hosts the three Newcastle-based cycling clubs at various times. The course is flat and rough, totalling about 8.4km.
On Saturdays throughout the year, Kooragang Open Cycling Club holds races, normally starting at 2:30pm
On Sundays throughout the year, Hunter Valley Veterans Club holds races for Masters and Ladies, starting at 8am in Summer and 9am in Winter. The first Sunday of each month is an open invitational for all riders.
On Fridays during daylight savings, Hunter Districts Cycling Club holds races commencing at 6pm. These are normally short races (1-4 laps) and they're usually well-attended.
