The ADCC is seeking expressions of interest for MTBers keen on representing the ADCC at a couple of key events this year. These are:

- The UK Interservice Championships followed by the Mountain Mayhem 24hr (~6-26 JUN); and
- The Crocodile Trophy (~20-28 OCT)

Needless to say that this is a significant opportunity and riders will not be selected purely to make up the numbers. We intend to send a team over there to win. The intent is to establish a regular competition with our UK counterparts that would see them come out here every other year to compete in our Championships as well.

The attached document should be completed and returned to me by the end of March (31st) so that selections can be made and successful candidates notified with enough time to sort out the logistics. It contains a covering minute which may be of assistance to your supervisor/CO but feel free to contact me for any more info or details.

The final make up of the team will be determined once we have an idea of who is both suitable and releasable.

The ADCC committee would like to announce the calendar of supported events for the first half of next year. More information on these events, including the Admin Instruction is available on the ADCC website.

For the most part the club is offering subsidised entry fees, with travel and accommodation allowances reserved for high profile events. Specific details of the support offered is listed in calendar of events.

More events are likely to be added to this list when the details have been confirmed. Details of the events for FY12/13 will be published when funding for these events has been approved.

While every effort has been made ensure the process for claiming subsidies runs smoothly, we would like to remind members this is the first time the club has offered support on this scale so we ask you to be patient if there are some initial delays.

As this is a new venture by the club, there are bound to be many questions. We would urge members to post their questions to the forum so we can share the answers and information.

Some challenging weather made the racing all the more interesting, the 4X crew being the only ones to escape without nature having a bit of a laugh at our expense.

Big thanks to Tails and Madge for their support in the lead up to, and during, the event. Thanks also to Rog and Indi for their time in running the skills clinic and to Clint Beattie and Mark Croonen for their time driving the DH shuttle bus.
